Jackson should do goo this year. They have alot of up comeing stars and even more seniors. Next year may not be as good but this year with people like Austin Wyant Brian Jarvis and Eric Landrum it outta be a successful season!

Kruize Wandling will probably be Jackson's No. 1 pitcher.

What about other skill positions? They looked pretty green at the beginning of the season last year. Lots of errors

I heard that they have about 36 kids for both varsity and jv this year. Numbers means battles for position should be a better start to the year. Kids will have to earn their spots and have other kids chasing them all year long. Signs of a good program. Numbers have gone up the last two years.

So how is the team looking so far? Does anyone have any info? I sure hope the comments made in the Jackson basketball post about "trying to get rid of the baseball coach" is totally false. Coach Rolston is a perfect man for the job. A young motivated coach with alot of knowledge of the game. Good Luck Ironman in '10!!

I have seen parts of two scrimmages haven't looked bad Wandling and Jarvis will be the 1 and 2 after that it is whomever is hot at the time. Starting to hit the ball struggled in the first scrimmage came on in last one I saw vs Miami-Trace. Should have a good season, allot of the guys can play multiple positions. Looks to have better team speed as well compare to teams in the past two years.

Rough start to the season 2-6 pitching is struggling a bit. Too many walks!!!!! Still time to turn it around.
