Ironton 10 Portsmouth 9
Bases loaded for Portsmouth in the bottom of the 7th. The batter hit the catchers glove and knocked it off his hand injuring the catcher for a minute. Should have been catcher interference all runners advance. This would have tied the game with one out and base loaded for Portsmouth. And go figure the umpire calls foul ball (WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME). The catcher is over at the dugout getting his hand looked at and they call foul ball. Unbelievable, but expected every time we play at Ironton. The Trojans still had a chance to win even though they didn't play well the second game. This team is the team to beat in the SEOAL. When Myers is on the mound and the way this team hits the ball they will win the SEOAL. This team won 4 games all last year and have won 3 game in the first week already. Great Job Trojans keep working hard and listen to your coach he knows how to win.

Nice day for the Tigers against Archrival Portsmouth 3 wins out of 4 games.
Ironton Boys split with the Trojans and the Ironton Girls win both of their games.
GO TIGERS...........

Great win for the tigers over portsmouth in the second game. But, I must admitt the umpire made a bad call on the catcher interference it was obvious. Those things happen and Ironton would have still had another at bat we will never know what would have happened. These 2 teams will battle for the conference title this year. The trojans are much improved over the last couple of years.

Coach voiced his opinion along with several fans. He even found them walking to their car to make sure they knew how he felt. That's what a coach that loves the game and his players does. This team is miles ahead of last year and it comes down to a great coaching staff and good talent. This is the best staff I have ever seen on one high school baseball team. There are some colleges that don't have a better staff.

had to leave early,and did not see the end of the last game.
we was losing by 4 runs when I left, good to see the Trojans make a come back and have a chance to win the game.
