i think there 4-7. they play really bad defense and not a very good hitting team.the 2 games i been to, they always seem either catch and bad throw, or just flat out miss.i have heard there have been a few issues that didnt help the kids at all.

Oak Hill is currently at 5-8.
Saturday's Results from the Oak Hill "Charlie Ross" Memorial Tournament:
Game 1 Westfall 10 Oak Hill 1
Game 2 Alexander 12 Southern 7
Game 3 Alexander 12 Westfall 5
Game 4 Oak Hill 8 Southern 6
Players are continuing to work hard and continue to improve as the season goes along. Not that this matters to me, but people need to remember, Oak Hill has 0 seniors on their roster and will usually start 2-3 freshmen in their lineup!!!

sorry my friend, but im just a fan and it matters to me just like it should to you if your a fan of oak hill baseball.Theres nothing like having to get 4 or 5 outs an inning, this means extra pressure on everybody and more pitches from your pitchers.so if there are certain kids that have trouble playing defense,i mean the picture in the paper showed there to be at least 20+ kids on team, some body surely can catch and throw.you dont have to be a senior to be able to catch a base ball and throw to 1st or where ever ball should be throwed.im sure kids are still working hard and hope they continue. It should matter to all oak hill fans!!!!!

you could have 50 kids on a team and it doesnt mean you will have 9 kids to play the field that never make an error. errors happen, sometimes more that a person would care to see, but you have to live with it. i live with it on a daily basis watching south webster play but there isnt much that can be done about it. you just have to make up for it in other areas. it does help to have a pitcher who strikes out 12-15 batters and pitches 7 innings every start, but not every team has a pitcher like that

Just because you have 20 some kids in the program does not mean all of them are shortstops, or all of them are outfielders, or all of them can catch and pitch. That is crazy. Usually there are only 2-3 for each position with a couple that can move around as a utility player. So to say everyone should get a shot means you don't know what you are talking about. Also, Oak Hill is 5-8 . Looks like they are improving. How many games did they win last year?

The Oaks come to Mecerville tonight. They should have no problem if the rebels keep playing like they are. Have no pitching and DUMB errors in the field.

sorry fellows not what i meant at all.i know if you have 20+ kids that all are not shortstops,or all pitchers,or infielders.what i meant was when a couple kids seem to be making a lot of the errors, what would it hurt to try another kid.i mean some of these kids might carry a powerful name, are they always shortstops, pitchers, seem like it doesn't matter just as long as there in the game.know every body is going to make errors, but over and over.come on regulator,i've watched this go on and on, so maybe you dont know what your talking about.who cares iwhat one of the infielders look like or what his name is,maybe you do .

Well, How did the season end up?
I saw where Oak Hill lost to Southeastern in the tournament. As a whole, was the season a success? Failure?
Oak Hillians, give some insight!

One thing people need to make sure they realize is that you cannot build a program in 1-2 years. It takes time. each season under Coach Wright you will see improvement. he is a great coach, and knows the game. Give it some time. Already doubled the wins from a year ago. Good Work Oaks

Oak Hill went 11-16 in 2010. They went 4-16 in 2009.
This years team consisted of 11 Juniors, 4 Soph., 6 Fresh.
Fresh. Waylon Boggs led the team in hitting at .402. So. Tyler Walls Hit .373 with 24 RBI's, and Jr. Jesse Parker hit .400 while leading the team with 28 runs scored. Jr. Joey Maynard tied a school record with 11 HBP.
Many 1st year players this year as some guys played for the 1st time since 7 or 8 grade.
Also Oak Hill was able to play 11 JV games that will be a valuable asset to the future of the Oaks. Players will continue to work hard and strive improve for the 2011 season.
Thank you to the parents that worked their tails off on the concession stand and between games of DH's. It did not go unnoticed!!
