Wellston 2 (17-9)- Southeastern 1 (14-12) - Ryan Darnell threw a complete game and Jake Arthur drove in Jared Norris after Jeff Matteson had sacrificed Norris to second base in the bottom of the 7th inning to win their second straight sectional championship and send the Rockets into the District semi-final versus the Huntington Huntsmen - Wed May 19th - 5:00 at Northwest High School. Wellston reached the District finals last season where they lost to the (19-0 )Fairland Dragons. The Rockets will try to advance to the district final for the second straight season on Friday, May 21st. Michael Grey, Cody Wilkett(also a double)and Jake Arthur each had 2 hits to pace the Rocket hitting attack.
