The important records are that both teams are undefeated in tournament play.

It's not like the Golden Rockets have a bad record ... 19 wins during a high school season isn't to shabby ... I believe they are 19-9 heading into Friday's game.

burg should make quick work. records do mean something. unless wellston is playing in some powerhouse division. even then need to be .500

RxBurgfan-the 5-21 is the date, not their record. Wellston's record is 19-9 (maybe a Wellston fan will confirm?) and is a very good record indeed.

But from here until the tournament run ends, the boys need to remind themselves that everyone they could face is undefeated in the tournament--including Wellston.

If they are going to cancel, I hope that they do so soon and I don't make the drive to Athens unnecessarily. <sigh> It looks like there is some rain headed their way yet but that it may be clear skies for awhile after that.

I showed up but left! They were charging 6 bucks a head to get in! I ain't paying that. According to The OHSAA web site they can only charge 5, but Athens has always tried to rip people off with ticket prices!

District Board sets the price. Everyone in the district is charging six
Sectionals were 5

So, you will pay that to watch a high school Basketball or Football?
But, not a Baseball game.
What is the difference?

Anybody have a score on this one?

You would have to pay the same for a District Basketball game or a Football playoff game.

So you definatly won't be going to the regionals where it will be $7. Where else can you go and have a great evening watching baseball for $6. I know times are tough, but come on.

your right I would! but I don't have to pay to watch regular season baseball games! I'm not taking just me to the game. I spent enough at the concession stands....I am not spending 30 bucks to go to a baseball game.

I don't think I would have drove there and let $6 keep me from watching the game.
