I can't wait for Thursday to get here ... I know Fed Hock is probably the underdog (as are most teams from this area in this stage of the tournament) - but with Tyler Thompson on the hill, the Lancers could very well pull out another win ... Thompson had some pretty good games at Wren Stadium last year during the 4th of July Legion Tournament - it seems the bigger the stage, the better he performs ... Lets hope he has another good one in him Tomorrow.

I know I would probably be a tad bit more excited if Athens were playing today in the sweet 16 - but having the Lancers taking center stage at Bob Wren Stadium today has me pretty stoked ... I havn't been this pumped to cheer for another team besides the Bulldogs since the '08 Tomcat's (football) that made it to week 12.

Absolutely amazing game by the Lancers. This game was the only one I've been able to see in full length this year... and I'm extremely impressed. Everyone is rooting for you tomorrow in the Regional Championship. Bring home the win. Congratulations to the team, especially the seven seniors on the Lancer roster. Lancer Land is proud of you!

Solid pitching performance by Lance Sharp. Garaway hit well in the 1st inning, then Lance settled in to throw 4 scoreless innings and get the win. Tyler Thompson brought everyone to the edge of their seat but finished strong with the save. FH had hits throughout the lineup and won every inning. Coach Brunty made some good decisions that paid off. Rumor has it that a long term contract extension is in the works.... Great win for the Lancers and now go get 'Burg...
