Can you believe it!!! Everybody bad mouths the TVC hocking in every sport imaginable and now we have not one but TWO tvc hocking teams in the regional finals. CRAZY!!!!! And the funniest thing is, neither of them won the league. Eastern got beat first game.... haha wow!!!! Gotta love it

3 teams

Fed Hock lost 4-0 today to Wheelersburg - but the Lacners should be a proud bunch of kids ... They played hard, but came up just sort ... Losing by four runs to a team like Wheelersburg who is like 26-1 or something is nothing to be ashamed of.

The Southern Tornadoes - same goes for that bunch!

Both teams had the exact same match-ups last year in the tournament and lost by a lot more runs ... this afternoons losses were both fairly close games (Southern lostr 7-4 to Newark Catholic) ... I know there are a lot of other teams in the TVC that wished they made the Elite 8 ... I'm sure losing is a real bummer to the players and parents right now - but somewhere down the line when they can look back and reflect on what transpired the last few weeks - there going to be some pretty happy folks.

The Burg was 29-1 going into that game.

THE VALLEY SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF THOSE 3 TEAMS. I KNOW I AM. THEY PROVED THAT HEART AND DESIRE CAN TAKE YOU A LONG WAY. GREAT JOB GUYS AND THANK YOU!

You have ONE TEAM make it to the final four.

We had THREE TEAMS make it to the Regionals. A feat not accomplished by your league.

So as a total league it would look as if the TVC would be stronger.

So you had 3 teams make it to regionals, but none advanced any further.

We had 1 advance to the regional and then on to the final 4, shutting out what was evidently one of your best teams.

So who played in the tougher conference and was better prepared to play the tougher competition?

You think what you want I will think what I want. Good luck to Burg at State. Just remember that the schools in the TVC Hocking are the same size as the schools in the SOC I. Of the nine teams that will be in the TVC Hocking next year 6 of the schools have very strong baseball programs.

Once again, I never said the TVC wasn't a good conference, but to say they are the best in southeast Ohio is a bold statement considering not one team advanced past the regionals. If you are the best then you prove it on the field, not by making ludicrous statements on a forum.

Yes the burg could beat any team in the TVC hocking. They are a WAY bigger school (other then Fed Hock) and nonetheless they are a great team and did make it to the final four. Congrats to them! But when you are talking about the BEST conference, one team making it to the final four is great but the TVC hocking had not one team make it to the final four but had THREE teams make it to the regionals. You gotta agree with me there, great great conference. THE BEST!!! Enough said

NO!

The SOC (Wheelersburg) and SVC (Adena and Zane Trace) have proved themselves in the last decade or so by competing at the state tournament. Note that these three schools are part of the Southeast District, henceforth they are in Southeastern Ohio.

Not trying to start a war, but when was the last time a TVC team represented the region?

One good year does not a good conference make.

I think Federal Hocking's non-league schedule gets them prepared for the tournament.

The TVC Hocking is a very strong baseball conference for its size. But to sit here and put them in the same category as these other conferences is straight out ridiculous. We have a few teams that hold their own against these bigger schools but once we get to the bottom is it down right embaressing. I think we have 4 schools that represent us very well and I am proud of them for that. But until we get a team to state lets not be too cocky.

TVC! TVC! TVC! TVC! I KNOW THAT ONE OF THOSE TEAMS TO ADVANCE AT TIMES ONLY HAD NINE PLAYERS ONE OF WHOM HAD NEVER PLAYED BEFORE. I'D SAY THAT IS PRETTY IMPRESSIVE! TVC, WE LOVE YOU!

I understand you are from Burg so it's hard to take criticism but your argument is flawed.

We are talking about a conference as a WHOLE not ONE team.

So yes congrats Burg made it to the Final Four that's one team in your conference.

TVC Had THREE make it to the Regionals that to me looks like a stronger conference.

Now I know your answer back is going to be Burg's in the Final Four again because that's all you can formulate.

When asked about a stronger conference though I would take the 3 to Regionals.
