Thank you Hardfowl for the coverage. Listened to the Eastern and Notre Dame game, what a nail biter.

Meigs not doing as well as I expected. Losing 0-8 to Piketon after 5 but according to another thread on the SVC, the conference as a whole has about a 75% winning pct. outside the league this year so it's a pretty good conference.

Yeah, I guess he's just a sophomore but has OSU and Kentucky looking at him already. He must be a stud on the diamond.

Piketon 8-0 after 5 1/2.

Final: Piketon 9 - Meigs 0

Farmer had 15 k's for Piketon. Meigs had a great year ending up 18-3.

Hardfowl,I know of an 87 year old grandmother that listened to you during the Eastern-Notre Dame game but got upset & turned the game off after the Eagles were behind 10-6 after the 6th. She said she will listen to the entire game tonight.

Good luck to Eastern & Southern tonight.

She went to tend to her pretty little flower bed of white gardenias,
No granny, no granny, no granny, no!
'Cause there was one inning left on the radio!
