trimble and southern was a great game. both teams should see alot of success in the tourney. good luck Southern the rest of the way, keep the loss column at 0... until we meet again in regionals that is

I agree - it was a good game for both teams ... Trimble may have lost - but it was good for them to know they can play with a team as good as Southern ... It was good for the Tornadoes to actually play a tight game - all the 10-run mercy rules weren't really getting them ready for the tournament.
* Side note: Both Chesser and Taylor looked good on the mound - as did Ramthun the first time these two teams played ... But I would still like to see a little more off-speed pitches by all three pitchers ... They're going have to mix it up a little when they go up against really good teams in the districts - and hopefully the regionals.
