Starting a team can get many children and parents excited about the opportunity to play competitive baseball. But questions arise about your post. NBC youth baseball age rules are based on a May 1 deadline not Aug 31. Also with All star, Nations, USSSA, and to somewhat AABC baseball tournaments being so abundant in this state, why are you playing NBC?
I have yet to locate any NBC tournaments in Ohio. There is no Ohio state tournament for NBC Baseball. Where as the Nations, USSSA State tourneys are held in Columbus. The closest world series qualifier for NBC is in Iowa. Is NBC Baseball a good idea? Yes. But this is a league that is mostly played in the Midwest and on the West Coast. This post is not meant to be rude or judgemental (even though it sounds that way) but I know the time and financial strains a parent can go through to allow their son to play travel baseball. I just think if your asking publicly for players to tryout, you might need to explain yourself a little further.

My bad! Its been a few yrs. back since i chartered with nbc. But we played with so.ohio bandits and played under nbc! Our state tnmnt. Was in cincinnati not sure what happened with the cutoff date! But we played 16-u at the time! I was just putting out feelers before i started to row! I'll be doing my homework a little better! Ty for your post!
