Hey D1, why is the April 13 game still listed as a single game and starting at 5? Shouldn't it be a DH with a noon start?

ill tell u what, alexander has the best freshmen class in the area. 5 freshmen up on varsity and are going to compeat for the title that tells ya somthing

no, not at pitcher, ive seen him and all he has is a fastball. hes fast and can hit and play outfield but at the varsity leavle he will not be a sucessful pitcher

I have heard a lot of good things about some of those Freshman.....
Alex will do well this year. Pitching should be great and they should be very solid on Defense.

5 Freshman on the Varsity could be a bad thing as well...where are the upperclasman?
But the entire League is youth Based across the board...
Athens has 5 Sophomores on the Varsity squad this season...
Alexander is a young team...
Meigs has some youth on the Varsity...
Nelsonville-York will probably have some youth on Varsity...
Wellston? Not sure about their team?
Vinton County? Same as above?
Should make for a very interesting Season ...
