there is one team in the area I would guess 99 out of 100 would consider to be the favorite.

My predictions:
1. WBurg: Pitching, Pitching, Pitching (Martin leads the Burg again!)
2. Minford: Very veteran team, best catcher in the league. No dominant pitching, but they can hit!
3. Valley: A lot returning, really peaked at the end of the year.
4. Waverly: Still too Many athletes, so they will compete.
5. Oak Hill: Really will depend on when their two transfers are able to play.
6. South Webster: Again, young team but many with experience.
7. Pwest: Lost a ton from last year, still have a couple of players but not enough.
8. Northwest: Young, Young, Young
That's my take, I am sure 4-8 can interchange. I am sure there will be some surprises . Spring is right around the corner!!

it's def the burgs crown to lose. I believe they have won it every yr since 2005. I look for another soc title for the burg and a possible 6th straight trip to Huntington park and 7 of the last 8

Burg absolutely has the pitching this year to be a powerhouse. Im interested to see peoples opinions on how West will be this year. They did lose an absolute ton of people last year. The main seniors from football and basketball really aren't baseball players. I have heard a few of them say they may play just because it is their senior year and they want to play before they graduate. I know they have a few hitters, but not sure about the pitching. Regardless, burg will win the so this year imo.

Until someone knocks them off and it's possible, the SOC II runs through Wheelersburg.

Don't count Oak Hill out! Once their two transfers are able to play they should be a solid team all the way up and down the line up ready to compete.
