After a SEOAL Championship and a Regional appearance last season, what does it look like for this group in 2015?

Senior Class Experienced + Junior Class Solid + Sophomore Class Talented + Frosh with some Strong Players = A High Expectation Season
An appearance and some wins in Zanesville or wherever the region is held this year is definitely the early season goal, hopefully everyone can stay healthy and the arms of what should be a very formidable pitching line-up can remain without problems.
Seniors are smart (both literally lol with 3 or so valedictorians and baseball knowledge wise) plus a mature group, should give the team good balance with what the classes behind them (Jr. & Soph.) can bring including quite possibly and very likely a freshman or two. Should be a varsity dugout with 15+ players that can play pretty much interchangeably.
Program is strong, expect 100 wins over the next 5-6 seasons in my opinion. Commitment from parents, community, coaching staff is in place from 8 years old to current varsity group.
That is my take.

Jackson expects to unseat Gallipolis as baseball kingpins over the last four years.

We intend on winning the last two years of the SEOAL Jottings, before Gallia Academy leaves for the OVC after the 2016 season.

I'd like to know your definition of "kingpin". Last season, Jackson split the league with Gallia, both 7-1. Only loss was to each other. Both teams went onto district at Ohio University. Only Jackson won the district and went to the Regional, not Gallia. I don't think the word "kingpin" could describe Gallia in 2014. Agree with DP, the Ironmen are looking to sweep the last 2 years of the SEOAL.
3 "words" for ya Jottings..........O...........V............C.......

That is actually 3 Letters. But I get your point.
Gallia and Jackson have become a great rivalry in Baseball.
Jackson should do well again, but once again it comes down to pitching and defense. If you lack one then it usually is hard to win.

It's not always easy following jottings as he's probably the oldest guy on here but I read it as Gallia Academy has been the kingpins of the past 4 years. Hard to tell though.
Regardless, Jackson has taken Gallia Academy's place as top dog of the league.....they'll cement that this year. Should be a pretty special year.

Not impressed with Jackson. A bunch of self promoters. Just my observation. That and the fact that SEOAL baseball is not very good.

Does anyone know what the TVC records were against SEOAL last year ? I didn't get to watch too much of the SEOAL in baseball except tournament time, but what I did see was pretty impressive. Gallipolis, Jackson & Warren. Do not count GAHS out as a top dog. Richard Corvin might be one of the best coaches in SEO.

Early off-season bad luck continues to pile up for the Ironmen with the latest being an injury to a sophomore with a shoulder injury that occurred when competing in a district wrestling match to qualify for the state meet.
That was preceded by a acl/mcl surgery to a senior outfielder a month or so ago, which was preceded by a senior LH pitcher/1st Baseman and last year's 2-hole hitter injury.
Best of luck to a speedy recovery to all of these fine young men.
Next man up philosophy now in play but losing a couple seniors and their leadership plus a key sophomore that would have seen some time behind the plate hurts no getting around that fact.
Go Ironmen and good luck defending your league, sectional and district championships.
