Big win over a very good canal Winchester team. Athens got down 6-0 early but ended up winning 10-9.

Now Marietta Thursday. Both will have their aces on the mound. Should be fun one to watch if you like baseball

Athens - Marietta match-up could be an early preview to a District game later this year.

These two clubs have to be a favorite to get there based on what they have coming back.

Even without Sano, Athens has looked very good so far. They have a great chemistry.

Not in game action yet. Returned to the lineup every day over a week ago, which is good.

Great work by Athens to be so successful without having Sano on the hill. If he's healthy to pitch in the post season, this team could go far. A fresh arm in the playoffs is big.

Can go both ways. Fresh arm or a pitcher who hasn't built up strength throughout the season. Tourney is right around the corner, im not real confident sano could go out & throw a 100 pitches or a complete game. Would love to see him pitch a few games prior to post season.
