Actually, Jottings, it is impossible for both games on Monday and Tuesday to be played at 5 p.m.
The second game each day starts at 7 p.m.

Not pickin' at the old guy at all.
Just want him to be accurate with his information.
He may have retired from the business in 1998, but emphasis on accuracy should NOT have changed in 15 years.
Just sayin'.

My question to you is, "Who made you head fact-checker"?
Also, why would the old guy put so much emphasis on "accuracy"? Is he being paid to post? Are you?
Really, what does it matter?

Nope. Guess again. I'm not trying to proofread anything or prove anything with this.
How hard is it for Jottings to be accurate with his information ?. :122248
If he is going to put it out there, AT LEAST BE ACCURATE WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't believe accuracy stopped in the information business in 1998.

Nope. Just want information to be accurate — that's all.
I thought this topic was about the Division II district semifinals anyway, and yet you're worried about me.
Ah, priorities. Gotta love 'em.

So if I was a fan of Logan Elm, thanks to Jottings, I would not know what time the game was. :-(

Maybe they'll play two games at once on the same field. That'd be kind of interesting. :122249

Look for the Ironmen to go with lefty sophomore Shortridge or freshman right-handed fireballer Sexton Tuesday night on the hill.

With all the talk about two games going on at once on here, I think the teams that played in the first game (Gallia and Fairfield Union) decided to play one game that lasted as long as two.

Waverly/Logan Elm was supposed to start at 7:00, but didn't start until around 9:00 p.m. It was 4 very good baseball teams going at it, but I do feel the best teams won yesterday. I think it's going to be a great matchup with Waverly/Gallia tomorrow. I'm sure we'll see their ace (he played first all game yesterday), and I'm betting Pierce Knisley (who pitched the final 2 1/3 Monday) will be on the mound for the Tigers. Gallia really pounds the baseball. The Tigers' defense will have to be on their toes, and we have to execute when we have opportunities. I'm really disappointed I have to miss it.

Trace tied it at 3 with 2 in the 6th. Warren has exploded for 8 in the 7th, and lead 11-3, and still batting

Jackson lost to Washington CH 10-0 Tuesday evening. Baseball gods were nowhere to be found last night. Jackson loaded the bases twice in first 3 or 4 innings and had a couple other baserunners before then as well but produced no runs out of those situations.
After playing to a 0-0 tie in 4 innings, the wheels fell off on a walk, a couple bunts, and before you knew it bases were juiced and Washington CH produced 5 runs in one inning and 4 runs in the next and it was over before it strarted.
Congrats Ironmen, and to the three seniors, Aaron, Rusty, and Briar for a nice run. Program is overall in a great spot and will produce some good years for the forseeable future.
