This is going to be some great baseball throughout the week. Thanks to Chris Hanners and the entire Chillicothe Paints organization for getting this together to get the season started. Look for some big time players on the field during the FNB We Can Play Classic! The local teams that are playing include back to back District Champs in Piketon and Unioto and Wheelersburg. League Champions such as Gallia Acad. Many college commits will be on the field including OSU commits Zach Farmer from Piketon, and Jacob Niggemeyer from Olentangy Liberty. Those are just the ones that I know from sure. Two time defending State Champion DeSales will be playing Piketon. If you are a High School baseball fan, you need to be at the VA starting Saturday. Bring out the kids to see these local teams, tell the young ones to get autographs from these high school kids, thats what its all about, the kids!
