#3 Logan Elm vs #1 Minford....Monday May 11th

Minford comes off an all around great game against Athens, putting the mercy rule into effect after 5 complete innings.

Logan Elm knocked off a very good Washington CH team to advance. I dont know much about Logan Elm, but any team that gets to the District must have solid pitching and good defense.

Minford hits the ball hard and makes their opponents make plays in the field.

Both teams have been scoring a lot of runs in their recent games. Will this be a low scoring pitching battle or will the scoreboard put up a lot of runs?

On a side note.....the bottom half of the district bracket saw ALL of the low seeds get upset in the first 2 rounds. #5 Sheridan and #7 Meigs will fight it out for the bottom half of the bracket. The winner of the Minford/Logan Elm game should be a very big favorite in the District Championship game.

Can't find that score, but Bloom-Carroll got upset by Big Walnut 5-1.

And had a boatload of D1 talent. Even if they threw off, they still had a stud, even if it wasn't the one going to Louisville.
