Marion Pleasant (19-9) vs. Alexander (24-4) 1pm
Wheelersburg (24-1) vs. Ridgewood (20-7) 5pm
at the V. A. Memorial Stadium on Thursday.

Bummer they are playing that first game so early. What is the reason behind that? Thought it would make more sense to have a 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock game.. Even a 4 and 7 game would be better.

They always play the Regionals at 2pm and 5pm.
I heard that the reason the Alex/Pleasant game is at 1pm has something to do with a track meet.

Marion Pleasant, the same team who refused to play at the VA last year in the infamous cleatgate, needed the gamed moved up so an athlete can participate in the Regional track meet tomrrow evening. Remember they are in the central district, I'm sure the OHSAA would do this to accomodate a SE Ohio team right??

Actually that was Marion Elgin that refused to play at the VA, but we get your drift.

Tomcats also playing today at the same time, I think.. Would have been tough to choose between the two games, I'd say.
