Re: Waterford vs Eastern District Final 5/17
Good Luck to my Eagles tonight...I have read on here where those Waterford seniors have not lost to any TVC school this year in football, basketball, or baseball. No bit better way of going out and knocking that niche off.
Re: Waterford vs Eastern District Final 5/17
I would actually give Eastern a slight advantage here. They make a lot of contact and Hayes can't pitch tonight for Waterford. That being said, Eastern will have to pitch their #2 guy as well. Usually in these types of games, the advantage goes to the team that lost the last time or two. Should be a great game, will be fun to see how it plays out.

Through 4
Waterford 5
Eastern 3
Eastern is being super cute with shifts and defensive changes on the infield, hasn't helped yet. They did get jobbed pretty bad on a clear fair ball down the left field line that would've been a ground rule double. The 4th just ended on a lineout to the 3B...who was 15 feet into right field against a RHH.

After 6
Waterford 9
Eastern 3
A couple of bleeders to where the 2B normally would be busted it open for the Wildcats.

Congratulations to Eastern on an excellent season and good luck to the Wildcats next week.
Only one senior for Eastern? They should definitely be back next year. Looked good fundamentally and return their top 2 pitchers. They would have to be an early favorite in D4 and the Hocking.

Great Job Wildcats!!! I did have the perfect view of the foul ball hit down the left field line. It was foul a ft or so. Good call Blue.

I'm betting it bounced sideways and into the seats along the foul line as opposed to going over the outfield wall.route7 wrote: ↑Thu May 18, 2017 1:28 pmBall bounced over the wall at Paint?!? Must have been a shotdanicalifornia wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2017 6:02 pm Through 4
