Re: SOC II Standings
SW/NW have played twice this year already. They split, SW took first game and NW took second game.

Re: SOC II Standings
With Minford playing Waverly twice this week and Burg playing Waverly twice next week there will be a lot of things happening.
Could possibly be a 3 way split this year.

Minford now 11-1
Beat I’m gonna say the best arm in southern Ohio tonight.

Re: SOC II Standings
That puts Minford in the catbird seat at this point. As long as they take care of business against West and the other schools, Burg and Waverly can only split the conference at best. Hopefully Minford can take care of Waverly again, which would eliminate Waverly. At that point Minford baseball fans will become huge Waverly Tiger fans when they play Burg twice lol.MinfordFalcons wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 8:13 pmMinford 2Bleeding Red wrote: ↑Mon Apr 16, 2018 11:30 am With Minford playing Waverly twice this week and Burg playing Waverly twice next week there will be a lot of things happening.

Re: SOC II Standings
If Waverly is to win the rest of their league games for the season (1x Minford, 2x Burg, and 2x NW) they will win the league outright with only having 1 loss and the rest having 2 or 3+ league losses.Bleeding Red wrote: ↑Wed Apr 18, 2018 8:33 amThat puts Minford in the catbird seat at this point. I can’t see them sweeping Burg and beating Minford again. Burg hits the ball to well and Minford beat their #1 last night.BigGuy10 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 18, 2018 9:36 amIf Waverly is to win the rest of their league games for the season (1x Minford, 2x Burg, and 2x NW) they will win the league outright with only having 1 loss and the rest having 2 or 3+ league losses.Bleeding Red wrote: ↑Wed Apr 18, 2018 8:33 amThat puts Minford in the catbird seat at this point. Re: SOC II Standings
Burg has to take care of its business at this point. While they are playing against Ashland tonight, one eye will certainly be on the Waverly-Minford score LOL.
In the past 5 games, Burg Offense has put up scores of 9 against Minford, 16 against West, 8 against Minford, 9 against Hillsboro and 15 against South Webster. 57 runs in 5 games, going 4-1 during that span.
The game at Minford was a heated rivalry inside and outside the fence, and in the press box. It was a great game to watch. Minford and Burg both have outstanding teams this year.
Finally a beautiful day for baseball!
GO BURG!

Re: SOC II Standings
I think the only way Waverly can compete with Burg is if they have their #1 on the bump which they will not on Friday based upon pitch counts. Only way Burg offense can be kept in check. As always Burg can flat out hit the ball against most pitchers in the league.Bleeding Red wrote: ↑Wed Apr 18, 2018 8:33 amThat puts Minford in the catbird seat at this point.
