Honestly not surprised. I watched VC this year and they haven't really lost a game where the other team was simply better. Honestly blew a lot of leads on dumb errors and and scoring runs late in the game. They are much better than their record shows. This is the quality that they can play at. Hopefully they are finally gelling!

Athens beat them handily 12-4 in first game
But yes, they are better than record indicates.

With Abele on the bump I would not want to see this team come tourney time. If VC gets a 7 or 8 seed I would not want to be the 1 or 2 seed.
