I haven't got to see him yet this year. Is his velocity legit mid to upper 80's in your opinion?

I haven't got to see him yet this year. Is his velocity legit mid to upper 80's in your opinion?

Mid 80's consistently. Hit 87 a few times, according to gun at Athens last night. But it's his deuce he throws for strikes that makes him so dangerous - and good.

Yep, kid is legit. 84-85 consistently, topped out at 87. 2 pitch mix with a nasty curve. Don't know if he has a 3rd pitch, but he didn't need it that night! Tip the cap to Ethan. Efficient with pitch count, and the Dogs could not muster anything at the plate. Matters pitched quite a game himself, but 3 Bulldog errors led to Meigs first 2 runs, and that was all that was needed on this night.
