Minford bests Ptown 6-5 in a great game to win the region for the 2nd time in 6 seasons.

Definitely a great game. Portsmouth was on top early, Minford clawed their way back for the win. Hate to see a great season end for the Trojans. Good luck to the Falcons next week, tough team.

Congratulations to the Minford Falcons on beating a really good Portsmouth Trojans team. Good to see the prayer circle has extended beyond PHS Coach Jeff Lisath's basketball program.

PHS boys hoop coach Jeff Lisath implemented the prayer circle upon his return to his alma mater, and I was impressed how after the alumni game loss, all current and former Trojan hooper gathered for the prayer. Good to see PHS back in the light for positive things. Jeff is certainly a needed element in the city of Portsmouth, glad to see him back.
