Look for Jackson and WCH to be the favorites

I think this might be the best team Rob Smith has had in quite awhile for MT. Ohio University commit Gaige Stuckey. Division 1 athlete Cooper Enochs. Austin Brown, Brody McBee, Cam Morton, Evan Colegrove, Jameson Hyer, Xavier Lawhorn, Landan St. Clair, Cade Whitaker.

Very athletic and talented group. They will be in the mix for the FAC title, I can assure you of that.

Washington will be decent but lost a lot from last season (Wall, Yeazel, Lynch are big losses.). I think they finish third in the league behind MT/Jackson. But I can see them winning 15 games in the regular season. Aden Osborne, Will Miller, Bryson Heath, Cooper Robertson, Gavin Coffman, and Sam Lotz is a solid core, they just need to fill in the holes that their three seniors left, which will not be an easy task.

Word on the street is Cooper Enochs will miss the season after having knee surgery. Big blow for MT.

That would be a huge blow, arguably the best bat in the FAC.

And you didn't even mention one of the best freshman players coming up Gage Bowers.

Jackson should be very good this year. Will play mostly juniors and seniors. Returning FAC Player of the Year Jones as well as OU committed catcher Ernst plus the top several offensive players from a year ago.

I'm not sure if Chillicothe will contend for the FAC Title, but they will be much improved. Returning every varsity pitcher is always a plus, and most of their seniors have been playing significant varsity innings since they were freshmen. This includes Ashland commit Mason Brown, Barr, Wade, Oyer and Haller, among some juniors who have a lot of varsity experience as well. Will be a fun season!

They will be the darkhorse to pick for the league champions.

St. Clair from Miami Trace ? who just got done wrestling?
I don’t believe he would even be eligible?
I don’t believe you can transfer this late and be eligible.

So you telling me this kid has been at Miami Trace all 4 years,
2 months left in his Sr year hes like I’m transferring?

My son is friends with most of the boys on the team. They told him St. Clair mom is making him do home school and he will be playing for the Blue Lions. Under the transfer rule he would be eligible because he is "home schooled"

I was not aware of that rule, what a freggin loophole.
Good for him, but that needs to change.
He can transfer a 2 weeks before the season starts and be eligible because he is being “ home schooled “ which hes a sr prolly like 2 classes….but a kid not being home schooled will transfer in the summer “ schools out” have to sit out 1/2 the season in some cases….makes zero sense…..once everyone is aware of this loophole alot of kids will start home schooling.
