It was a heck of a game between Chesapeake & Huntington St.Joe, Great pitching from 2 outstanding (3 because Stephanie came in in relief for Sara)young ladies, both teams had opportunity to put the game away before the 9th but both kept leaving runners stranded. It was a real white knuckle barn burner lolol

Heard the Lady Pointers mercied the lady Raiders 13-0 in five innings. Any one know if the boys won? Surely they did although they are struggling this year!

Yeah the girls won big over RV. Leighty with another homerun. Several of the girls with doubles in the gaps.
Heard the boys won over River Valley 3-2. Close game...I guess both teams didn't hit too great. I heard that the pitcher from RV did extremely well. Seagraves had a homerun. (sorry everyone to report a baseball score here, but someone was wondering...forgive me!

South Point over Ironton on senior night. Leighty and Kleinman with home runs in the first inning. Ironton battled back from 5-0 and got at least 3 runs but the Pointers were just too hot tonight with the bats! Final was by about 10 runs.

well we showed up to play- but the home team oak hill did not- not very classy as we could have stayed home and played a make-up game. Word is after the team and their parents traveled to oak hill, the oak hill coach decided to cancel 1/2 hour before game time.

Wellston vanquished Vinton County 8-0 in a TVC-Ohio softball makeup tilt on Thursday. The game was moved to Wellston with VC's softball field deemed unplayable for today with the rain.
It was the first career shutout for freshman pitcher Brittni Hall.
The Lady Rockets return to action, and after their prom on Saturday nigth, on Monday at Jackson.
