Ahhhhh....out with the old.......in with the new! A new facility is always exciting, it's like a new beginning, a chance to make new memories, endless possibilities! That's not to say we should forget the old, it's what brought us to the new!

Believe it or not, there were two softball fields on Memorial Field when the field first opened 60 years ago. The second field was located right behind the current field backstop or down the right field foul line of the baseball field. The diamonds were used for recreation purposes. You should have seen those old backstops in those days.
