hopefully the title comes back to So Ohio BUT that lack of offense is going to hard to overcome. You can't win forever putting up 1 or 2 runs a game. Maybe they can squeak out a couple more nail biters. I hope so. MD

Well ManitouDan don't look like you have watch very many Piketon softball games this year! Because if so you would know that with Piketon's defense they only need to score one or two runs!!!!! Also, Piketon has hit the ball solid all season long... The only problem is that Piketon don't have much speed when it comes to running bases and it gives the defense enough time to capitalize on Piketon's good hits...

No , I have not seen Piketon much this year, but I've seen/followed the past 3 games pretty close. They beat West 1-0 , while nearly getting no hit , got a run on an overthrow at 3rd. They beat Liberty union on a 1st inning homer 1-0 , and then need 17 innings to score 2 against Valley. thats 4 runs in about 31 innings. My point is that isn't much O , and I suspect that could be their downfall. I really hope its not , bring that title back to So Ohio. the good news is they might not see as good pitching as Evans/Dillow . Hopefully they will put up 3-4 and Zimmerman does her normal thing and the streaks win state . Good luck MD

Game time is 3 pm Friday. The game will be over the airwaves on both wkkj 94.3 or on either 100.1 or 100.9 out of Waverly not sure which one. The girls are leaving today at 2 pm and I expect Piketon and Pike County residents will be out in force to see them off. Lets Go Streaks!
