I think most of us believed that the Burg and Oak Hill would be the strongest teams and that seems to have played out over the first couple of weeks. They will play on April 9th I believe and should be a very good game. These two teams have good pitching and strong hitting, the high school coaches should be smiling.

I would adjust my preseason picks a little but still believe that Burg and Oak Hill are the top two. But I am not sure how far Coal Grove, Clay and Rock Hill are behind them. Have any of these five teams played each other yet?

They are in different Jr High leagues this year and won't play unless the coaches set it up.

The jr high game of the year to watch will be on April 22nd, when burg makes the trip up to Wellston. Should be an exciting 1, and a long time coming. Probably 2 of the best pitchers and defensive teams in the area
