Great effort last night ladies with a depleted lineup (2 starters out injured) vs a very good undefeated Minford Falcon club. 15-5 final doesn't really tell the tale of that game. 2-0 nw 4-2 minford 4-4 tie, 6-4 minford, 6-5 minford, 9-5 minford , and 6 runs in the 6th to put the game away for minford. Keep your heads up ladies and keep working hard. You're representing Northwest very well.

Final scores don't always show the true story with young teams. Our Green team is in a similar situation with 8 sophomores and freshman starting. The final scores don't show we've had late leads or ties in all but 4 or 5 games. Young teams have to learn how to win.

I've seen your Mohawk group play for a few years now. Very talented group with a bright future.

One of the things that make this group of kids special, is that you can't tell what their record is by the way they represent themselves on the field. Coach Keller has done a great job out here in the short time he's been here. Can't wait to see what the future holds for these young ladies
