Big margin over a pretty good Waverly team.

Waverly beat us pretty good like Alexander handled you guys pretty good....both without facing our ace pitchers....but with your ace you drill Waverly and with our ace we beat Alexander twice.

The draw should be interesting.

Waverly surely didn't pitch their best pitcher today vs. Gallia did they?

Looking at the offensive production you wouldn't think so...but a good showing might have helped their chances of a good seed being in the same sectional. No different than Gallia Academy pitching Ward.

GAHS4EVER,
can you tell me if Waverly pitched the Mays girl or did they pitch someone else not wanting gallia to see her before tournament time?

Thanks for the information.

They have to be the #1 seed. Warren has to be the #2.....3-5 should be some order of Jackson, Meigs and Waverly

They pitched a freshman that would be consider their 3rd pitcher. She pitched in 3 varsity contests at the beginning of the year when temps were between 36 and 48 degrees. Jackson got 9 games in the first 11 days, only two which were league. With temps that cold, the coach wanted to take care of pitching arms and limited pitches time and made sure the ace was ready for league games. day before Waverly, played Warren Local(14-1) Jackson lost 3-1, then Logan day after and won 8-2. Ace didn't pitch against Wellston nor Waverly. All in the second week.

Mays is a decent pitcher. Nothing like Schilling. They won't make it past Meigs. They had better get on the stick and get some coaching and some defense. Some competitive summer ball besides rec league wouldn't hurt either

If I'm not mistaken, waverly won against Burg first time in 12 years with "decent pitcher." Mays pitched one game of a double header last year. Waverly team much better than their record.

What was the outcome today of Warren's scheduled visit to Gallia for Senior day and a tussle for the top spot in the SEOAL?

Warren and Gallia boys baseball got in 1.5 innings before the weather ended it. Did the girls softball not even get started?
