I say keep it simple...when at home, do your postgame huddle in the circle, when or lose. When you're on the road, do your postgame circle down the foul line of your dugout in the outfield. Celebrate all you want there when you're in your spot after the handshake. Stay out of the circle when you're on the road...that's disrespectful.
I don't think that's asking too much. Last night I saw a victorious visiting team start to congregate in the circle and get run off by the home team plus the visiting team's coach, who was yelling at his own girls to get out of there. It wasn't heated, but that's the stuff that can escalate. The home team always meets in the circle at home games, so they weren't doing anything but walking over there when the opposing coach realized what happened and moved his team. I respect him for being heads up on that...averted any potential issues. I honestly don't think the girls from the visiting team meant anything by it, but if you keep it simple to down the line on the road, in the circle at home...this doesn't become a problem.

I do not think the cheering in the circle is disrespectful to anyone. It is the center of the field natural place to get together. I hear this "old school" stuff brought out as a cop out when your team got beat you get mad. I guess when your team is winning they never do anything wrong ? No one says my team won i think they was disrespectful cheering after. I say get over it let the kids have fun and celebrate after the game.

Cheering in the circle is just a way to celebrate a victory. Its just a game people get over it!!!!!!!! One day I hope RV will be able to stand in the circle at an OVC game and cheer after a WIN
