2017 Minford Falcons

I believe she pitched her first game back which was last Saturday vs Hillsboro. If my information is correct she plays year round and did have some type of shoulder issue recently and is not yet back to 100%. I'm assuming they want to ease her back in to pitching and get her strength back. Don't would to aggravate an old injury.

Both her and her sister attended Waverly a few years ago and moved away and are now back. I'm yet to see her pitch but here she's pretty good.

Yes she's coming off injury heard she just got released Thursday to resume full throwing.pitched 5 innings both games I'm guessing she's not 100% in 5 days and probably pitch count also

The Pirates had a few more hits, a few less fielding miscues and got the first game with Minford 2-1, but it was a heck of a game. Nice to see all the fans in Minford for this one.

As I said in another post, when the wheels fall off, its hard to compete against tough teams like Wheelersburg. Lady Falcons fell to the lady Pirates 13-0 (5). Minford has a home game with Eastern Brown Monday for Senor Night at Notre Dame Wednesday and at Valley Thursday in a makeup game before the tournament.

Brittani W, Hannah Tolle, Kiersten Hale are they really "it" players. I heard that Brittani beat out upper classman for her position, same with Kiersten Hale, is this true are these players as good as I've heard just curious.

Watched them play twice and yes they are for real, take some time and go watch for yourself.

Tolle is a Freshman as well.
They put the work in year round with Travel Ball.
Not your typical Freshmen.

Minford(15-2) defeated Eastern Brown 19-1 (5) in a senior night contest.

Minford came out strong at Notre Dame with seven runs untill a three run homer in the bottom of the sixth but won 7-3. Way to go

Minford (17-2, 12-2) locked up 2nd place in the conference with a 11-5 victory over the Valley Indians. The Falcons added another game before the tournament Monday 5-8 at home against Washington Court House.

However not the CH Blue Lions but the Miami Trace Panthers, but the Lady Falcons closed out the regular season with a 14-4 (6) win.

A big 2nd inning proved too much for the Panthers as Minford captured a D.III Sectional Championship with a 13-1 (5) win over visiting Chesapeake. Now head to Unioto Thursday for district play vs. New Lexington, a 13-0 winner over Oak Hill.

Who knocked Minford out of the playoffs ? or are they still in ?

Sorry everyone. Had internet problems. Minford faced New Lexington in the district semifinal at Unioto Thursday and advanced to the championship game with a 13-3 (5) over the Panthers. The Falcons though ended their great season at the hands of the Westfall Mustangs 5-2 in the district finale. We seem to hit the ball right at them I was told. I had too miss those two games due to working the D4 tourney at Minford.
The Minford Lady Falcons had a great season finishing 20-3 overall and 12-2 SOCII. We lose three great players in (Airiel Kingery, Mary Pica and Melanie Fuhrmann) to graduation. However Minford should have a successful season next year with our returning players.
