What local kids are playing at the next level?

2011 Jackson grad Emeleigh Cooper is getting some playing time at Marshall University. They are 12-9....Cooper has played in 19/21 games and has started 2 games. She's scored 6 runs and has 4 SB for the D1 squad.

good thread . I cant name every local kid but Shawnee had barrett and thompson from Franklin furnace Green , and the SS was a great hitter from burg (name ??) and the 2nd baseman was from SoPoint -- Erica ?? J Blanton from Burg is starting at Kent St. Ali Keller from Notre Dame is playing at Marietta . sure i'm forgetting a bunch. Valley had a girl committ to Pikeville last year. MD

on a related nore there are tons of up and comers that will be playing college or at least have the oportunity to play. I'd say the SOC1 has at least a dozen ands the SOC2 has a handful also.

by no means not an exhuastive list but waverly has Lynsey Ward, Burg has Dempsey,Cunningham, Blair , Valley has Koch and Dillow , Corns , Minford has Conkey, Clay has J Jenkins, Notre dame with Stevenson,Phillips, Pauley, Harr . West has a couple kids that can play college ball. I'm sure I'm forgetting as many as I named.

Alyssa Wolfe of New Lexington is in her 2nd year at Ohio University. Started multiple games last year as an outfielder.
