15 or more home runs is enough to get into the state record book. Make sure the coaches submit this info to the OHSAA. Portsmouth Clay's 23 last year was good enough to put them at number 10 in the state record book.

Warrens 230ft fence is killing them. At least three players have hit it to/off the fence. Those are homeruns on any other field.

Good to see Morgan Geno having great success in high school. She is a quality young lady from a quality family. It’s good to see another Wild Thang having success in high school that is destined to have a great future at the next level. -From a coach from the past

no good excuse for 230 ft fences, Valley is at 225 in center --- in comparision nearly all college fields are set at the standard 200 ft . West Ports fences also seem very long . I've heard only 2-3 homers have ever been hit out of there . Home runs are exciting for the girls . Movem' in to 200 coach's !

The Wellston Lady Rockets have really shown their power this season with an amazing total of 23 homeruns and 17 wins! With their homerun total "sky rocketing" the Lady Rockets are ranked 13th all time in the state of Ohio (prior to Longs homerun last night).

Taelor Folden - 9 Grandslam
Shanea Long - 7 Grandslam
Megan Dailey - 2 Grandslam
Brittni Hall - 2
Chelsea Mcmanaway - 2
Sydney Compston - 1

Awesome Job Lady Rockets and Good Luck on the rest of the season!!!

With the 2 home runs tonight, this team moves into 16th best all time for a single season in home runs. They have a chance to move up the list on Friday. Great Job by this group of young ladies.
