It is week two of spring for the Cardo’s Family Fun Center SVC Sports Talk podcast show, and SVCsportszone.com’s Shayne Combs was once again joined by his brother Matt as well as Jeremy Ward to discuss SVC baseball, softball, and track.

As for baseball, the discussion is about the great pitching and the close games that headlined the opening week of conference play. In softball, three teams are off to a perfect league start while several rookie pitchers are making quite a splash.

On the track, several SVC athletes were in action out at Southeastern this past week, and this week’s Photo Finish takes a look at different ideas for track scheduling that could help the sport grow in media coverage and popularity.
