The Gallia Academy Blue Angels picked up their 8th win of the season by defeating Chillicothe 9-4. GAHS had 11 hits, with 4 strike outs. Pacing the Angels with 2 hits each were Kendra Barnes, Mattie Lanham and Violet Pelfrey. Heather Ward, Rachel Morris, Maggie Westfall, Kanessa Snyder, Megan Cochran and Chelsy Slone had one hit each. Sr. Heather Ward got the win in giving up 6 hits, striking out 8 and walking 3. The Angels travel to River Valley on Tuesday and host Warren on Wednesday in a league battle for a piece of first place in the SEOAL. GO BLUE!!!!!!!
