GAHS 8 -- Logan 1. Heather Ward had a no-hitter going until the bottom of the 7th when Logan hit a single up the middle. We play every night next week if the rain does not get us. BIG game on Wednesday when Jackson comes to town. GO BLUE !!!!

Man Friday the 13th sure was horrific for a few teams while a couple other narrowly avoided big upsets .
So. Webster beats W-Burg for the 1st time in 14 years ! Green upsets East -- . Waverly scores a ton of runs in the last inning to overcome a big deficit against West . PHS comes within a run of upsetting league leader Warren. . Crazy day for sure. MD

Wheelersburg owned the Shermans nuff said.

It would not have made a difference if the Shermans were 100% or not that night.

The Shermans played an outstanding game against Adena this week with basically the same line-up that faced Wheelersburg.

Against Huntington the Shermans was as close to 100% line-up wise as they have been all season. Alyana Lightle from Huntington pitched great and the rest of the Lady Huntsmen played outstanding as well.

The Shermans like SVC foes Zane Trace and Huntington are relying heavily on younger athletes to compete this season.
Combine this with the health/injury issues the Shermans have had this season and I think we will continue to see scores in a wide variety of ranges.

The Shermans are better then the Wheelersburg score but not as explosive as the 20 and 30 run wins may lead one to think.

We are some where in the middle. I think the Logan Elm and Westfall games are the best representative of what the U is this season.
