Who has the power?
Who has the power?
I understand that the High School softball link gets lots of travel ball posts and that is not the right place for them.
Who has the power to create or some separate Travel ball links to at least separate the boys and girls?
You wouldn't necessarily need to separate out the different sports. (although that would be ideal)
I think this would be very helpful.

In the AAU/Travel forum
Each each thread title can specify boys or girls or what sport.

I see no reason travel softball posts shouldnt go right her. If You want to read about anything softball I think you should be able to go to the softball forum.

Re: Who has the power?
For 10 years all softball related material was easily found here .. just leave it alone . No one wants to venture to two sections to read softball material . Not like this place is over ran with material. Don't fix what isn't broke .

Re: Who has the power?
JMS has used this forum since 2012 and didn't know there was a AAU forum where travel softball stuff was now supposed to go . not many other people do either . just leave it alone . Not a single person was complaining about too much travel stuff in here .
Re: Who has the power?
I don't post much but read it daily and am not a fan of the travel stuff on here. Does any travel team ever find a player on here? I could see high school age but 8u, 10u and 12u?
Do the basketball forums have travel stuff? Does any other high school sport? It has it's own place. Every other titled forum is full of threads about it's title. My daughter played travel softball so it's not like I'm against it. I'll read regardless but I prefer it not be on here.

It's good advertisement to promote local tourneys and tryouts. This isn't the football forum it's not like there is a massive amount of post on this forum.

Re: Who has the power?
Thanks for backing me ManitouDan but I was fully aware of the AAU/Travel forum. It just gets so many posts for such a wide variety that it seems like it would be better if it could be separated into a few different forums. I also agree that 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' but this is a HS forum and I respect the fact that some who follow HS softball could care less about travel. I personally have one doing HS Softball and Travel basketball and one doing JH softball and travel softball. I do more looking than I do posting so separating them will make me have to bounce around to different forums but Id rather do that than have to open a thread and read part of it just to figure out what its about. Or, in a perfect world... if everybody included this info in the subject that would help.....but doubt that will happen.

You shouldn't be allowed to post in the wrong forum just because you're lazy.
