I was at the Warren Local game as well.

4+ balls did sail over the outfielders heads but before those balls sailed over Warren scored 4 runs on balls that blooped between the infield and OF. Give Warren some credit. They hit the ball all night long and ARE also the defending SEOAL Champs.

As for the Jackson girls, you might want to put yourself in their shoes. They are high school girls. If one of those girls you mentioned read this how would they feel? You didn't say the first baseman's name but how would she feel if she read that? Odds are good that most people reading this thread are somewhat familiar with the Ironladies and know who you are speaking of.

I hope you edit your post with those you spoke of in mind.

I'm just a washed up Ex-baseball player, just get frustrated as a parent at times. That's all. I send an apology to those I called out by names and such. That was a mistake on my behalf. Good luck ladies

Same here....it is frustrating. A lot of things are being tried and everyone needs to do all they can to improve in a manner to help/assist the team. Coaches, players and even their supporters. The players have to have each other's back and pick each other up after errors, poor at bats or base running. The game is hard. The best players are successful hitting only 40% of the time. Not seeming to get the bounces but a lot of things to improve on....but the girls are working and actually getting to have 2 days of practice might just be what the Dr. ordered.

I feel as a whole the team has improved from Logan an on...Minford is a team we beat 9-2 and they have been unbeatable since knocking off top team after top team. They are 11-1 I believe. Wellston beat us by 1 and have one of the very elite pitchers around. Not making excuses...everyone involved can look in the mirror and see they didn't do everything like they should. The league is still open. Chillicothe and Gallia Academy can beat anyone and Portsmouth does things that can knock off a team. The SEOAL isn't over, nor is the season. The team and coaches must be more consistent and focused. They are a gritty group of girls and no coach wants to lose.

Go Ironladies!
