Don't take much into the Zane Trace vs. Jackson score. Remember these are scrimmages and a coach can get many things out of these. Jackson played a ten inning scrimmage on Thursday which they gave up 0 RUNS at Marshall University, they then travel to Zane Trace this evening to get additional looks, Jackson had scored 3 RUNS in the first three innings and had given up 0 RUNS going into the 4th inning, when they shut their ACE down. Wanted to look at stamina and was very pleased. Behind some very good DEFENSIVE PLAY over the last 2 days, THE IRONLADIES #1 DEFENSIVE UNIT WITH TOP PITCHERS GAVE UP 0 runs in 15 innings of play. " I SAW ENOUGH!!!"

Chose to work other combinations of players to get a look for future options.

GREAT OVERNIGHT TRIP IRONLADIES!!! :-D

old timer that whole post of your is garbage. you brag on thursdays SCRIMMAGE ,, we gave up 0 RUNS , then treat your drubbing at ZT like it didnt matter , again using caps to accentuate how great you were in one game and how you were getting to ZT's ACE before they shut her down. Total slap in the face to the ZT team . The truth is , and he left this part out , Jackson played the scrimmage just as hard as they would in a reg season game ... dont believe me ? HE INTENTIONALLY WALKED ZANE TRACE"S BEST HITTER with runners at second-third IN A SCRIMMAGE GAME --- then comes on here and paints the picture they just took the game to get some " addt looks" its BS and I'm calling him on it .
You have a nice team , in that league you might even win it .

Didn't say anything about ZT ace at all. Great young lady and utmost respect for Morgan. Love watching her go about her preparation and the way she plays the game. The ZT coach and I talked that we were going to work on situations for game preparations. As Morgan approached with two outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd, I told the coach that in a real game we would intentionally walk in this situation and I would like to talk my pitcher and catcher through it here. (Once again, scrimmage to work on situations). I said we will pitch to her and let her hit and try to get her out, but that way she could get a look at live pitching, want scrimmages allow you to do. But after she hits, could we bring her back for us to talk my pitcher and catcher through an intentional walk. Her coach said, "no, don't worry about it, we need to get use to that and the next batter will probably see that a lot." Once again, scrimmage and I work on situations so we don't experience them for first time when it counts most.

Wasn't implying anything about ZT and their team. Just saying don't weight into final scores of a scrimmage when coaches are using for evaluating individuals independently.

Best of Luck to the pioneers and the Ironladies!!!
