Must be an early season thing and teams finding the right combinations. Last week a team won 4-0 over a team that had been run ruled in 5 innings (19-3 & 17-0) the 2 previous nights.ManitouDan wrote:Valley gives up 20 to Minford but holds Burg to 6 . Strange score .

New / young players working their ways into line-ups.
Coaches will give their veterans every benefit of the doubt early on to solidify
their spot in the line-up. A few loses or a big lose and changes are made.
I can think of three different pitchers from our area this has happened to.
All Three was very good but had Freshmen come in under them that was better.
To the credit of the older players, all accepted the role change and all three teams went on to have very successful seasons.
