SOC 2020
Who wins the soc 1? Notre dame? Not real familiar with the soc 1 teams.
SOC belongs to wheelersburg? will anyone come close to an upset?

Re: SOC 2020
Notre Dame should be favorite in D1, followed closely by Symmes Valley.
Wheelersburg returns a lot of talent, followed closely by Minford. These two teams went at it in close games during the regular season.

ND returns Cassie Schaffer in the circle , unless SV has a similar girl in the circle I cant see then challenging ND . I think Clay graduated a bunch . Not sure how they will reload.

Re: SOC 2020
Here are last years SOC1 results that are posted on SEOPS. Looks like a couple games are missing from the records. Should be 14 games for each team. Hard for me to see Symmes Valley jumping up to 2nd when they also lost their starting pitcher unless they have someone else coming up to replace her. Also Eastern will leave while St. Joe comes in to the SOC1.
Clay 13-1
Notre Dame 13-1
Green 9-5
Symmes Valley 8-5
Beaver Eastern 4-8
Glenwood 4-10
Sciotoville 1-11
Western 1-12
Clay 13-1
Notre Dame 13-1
Green 9-5
Symmes Valley 8-5
Beaver Eastern 4-8
Glenwood 4-10
Sciotoville 1-11
Western 1-12

It widened a little when B Wolf left Minford for burgcaptainmorgan_ wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2020 10:01 amis minford really that close to wheelersburg talent wise?mglight88 wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2020 8:53 pm Notre Dame should be favorite in D1, followed closely by Symmes Valley.

No on in this area will field a better team than burg but for burg like with all teams it will all come down to pitching
Burgs pitching has been inconsistent since Howard left
Vass before transfers 229-75 burg 5-1, Pendleton and transfers 211-84 6-2 ironton

Not because she will not be deserving but because coaches hold grudges

Just curious to know why you think this? I haven't seen some of these kids play a whole lot the last 2 years. just a few games here and there but Burg has Sturgill and Hughes , and if Spence their pitcher has a good year I could see her getting it.PirateFan[69] wrote: Wed Feb 05, 2020 10:03 amWolfenbarker will get SOC II Player of the Yearfbnut wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2020 12:24 pmIt widened a little when B Wolf left Minford for burgcaptainmorgan_ wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2020 10:01 am

If sturgill can get heathy and stay healthy she gets my vote

Re: SOC 2020
Everyone plays for second place behind Burg. Another year of most having no chance to win SOC2.
Re: SOC 2020
Oak Hill and Minford will most likely be 2 and 3 then everyone else 4-8.rxburgfan wrote: Tue Feb 25, 2020 8:13 pm Everyone plays for second place behind Burg. Another year of most having no chance to win SOC2.
Re: SOC 2020
I would say whoever EARNS player of the year gets my vote... but I can't vote anyways lol

Re: SOC 2020
shouldnt the kids who won the little league world series be freshmen now? will any make an impact this season?

A few are in highschool but won’t have an impact
There will be a couple freshman that have a chance to have an impact but they weren’t on that team
