Who looks like the favorite coming into this season?

Hillsboro is coming off of an undefeated (10-0) FAC season, but i'm not sure what they return or lose. Then it went:

McClain, 6-3

Chillicothe, 4-6

Miami Trace, 4-6

Jackson, 3-6

Washington, 2-8

I saw that Jackson HC Wolford resigned so they will be under new leadership. Not sure about the rest of the league.

Should be another good season for several teams.

Pretty sure Hillsboro returns both pitchers and most of last years team

Hillsboro is loaded and has several players back this Spring.

Greenfield is in a bit of a rebuild as they lost 10 Seniors last year. Once you get past Hillsboro though the other 5 schools should all be pretty even.

Wolford resigned the year before. Mack Thompson coached last year. Former Rio player Alex Kuhn will lead the Ironladies this year.

I believe MT has Campagna and May both back who logged a lot of innings last year.

So teams have gotten into it pretty good by now … what’s the word on how these teams will stack up? From what I’ve read so far Hillsboro is the favorite. Can anyone upset them or is it a race for second? If so who how do the rest of these teams match up? I know the Tigers had a bunch of seniors last year.

Hillsboro will run the table in the FAC. I can see Hillsboro in the District Championship with those two pitchers.
