How did the tryouts for the teams go? Are your teams set? Did you have enough for all levels?

I wasnt there but was told they didnt have very many show up. Most of the girls who play travel ball in this area are already on a team or have already tried out for 4 or 5. Hope the best of luck to them in getting the team together, it would be nice to have a few more travel teams local to choose from.

Are the cyclones going to hold another try-out??

Hello,
Sorry for the late reply. I was not aware that you all had posted a reply. But better late than never right? :)

Yes this is a new team. I had several of my previous players express interest in playing travel ball. I was also interested in getting away from little league coaching and back to the competiveness of ASA.

As for the tryouts. We had a decent turnout. I was pleased with the turnout because I knew that that particular weekend we were competing with soccer for the younger girls and some had something to do with the little league foaotball whether it be cheerleading or brothers.

But, we are still wanting to get 2-3 more girls for each level. We are preparing for the next practice and have had several girls contact me expressing interest to play for our team. So I am giving them the opportunity to come and practice as an individual tryout.

Anymore questions, let me know. I will check the site more often now that I realize I don't get email alerts.

Thanks
T.
