Flamin Fury 10U travel team is looking for a few players to join the team. We have girls from all over the MOV. Parkersburg WV, Marietta, Belpre, Warren Oh, Ritchie Co. Practice starts the first of January at the Boy & Girls Club in Parkersburg. If interested give Mary Wittekind 740-525-9926 or Teressa Harper 304-991-0388 a call.

There will be two girls from Belpre coming and one from Warren that I know will be there Jan 3rd from 6-8PM. I spoke with Teresa last night and she said it should be in the paper this sunday. One girl from Belpre is 8 and will be as of Jan 1, the other belpre girl and warren girl will be 9 I believe.

7 girls moved up to our 12u. We have 5 girls returning to our 10u. The 2 from belpre and 1 from warren makes us 8. We are still looking for 3 more girls to fill the team for the 2009 season. So if you know of any young girls that love the game and want to play bring them along on Jan 3.

What are the costs we are looking at as parents for our girls to play? Several parents have ask me that and I can not give them a good answer.

The cost is not a definite, but it's usually around $300.00 a girl for the tournaments. The uniforms are separate. That price can go up or down depending on how many girls are on the team and the price of the tournaments. All the tournaments have not been decided yet. We try to stay within 2 hours of home. Have them attend the Jan 3 practice at the boys & girls club in Parkersburg Wv to get more details and to see if they like it. We try to do enough fundraising for the tournament fees.

Looking for girls 10u girls around the mid ohio valley that would be interested in playing travel ball. We have 3 openings. We have been practicing in Parkersburg Wv since the first of January and will continue until the end of March until we can go outside. We will be traveling mostly to the Columbus area.
