Holy crap! I seriously can't believe what I just read about big red. I'm wondering if that comment was posted by someone who doesn't know this "child", or is it because they are that upset she left. Since it is mentioned that these girls have been together since the minors, its obvious its someone who knows her. Maybe this person should talk to the two coaches that brought these girls up. How many countless conversations did these coaches have with red, because she was down on herself, because she walked a batter, or didn't get a base hit. How many times was she encouraged, because she didn't believe in herself? Let me tell you sandtrap, comments like you made, doesn't do a girl who has no self confidence and no self esteem a bit of good. People like you don't even need to post comments on here. You have made this purple and gold fan ashamed to have you as one of ours.

Sandtrap14 - You need to delete your post now!!! Comments like that you need to keep to yourself and you obviously do not know Kasey very well at all - I know her to be an extremely friendly and likeable young woman. Do not get on here and bash young players. You seriously need a "time-out"!!!

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think anyone is giving Belpre enough credit. They beat Nelsonville 2 times, split with Alexander and Meigs, and beat Vinton both times en route to a 14-6 season, and only lost one of their pitchers in Courtney Meriwether. They return their entire infield and outfield, with 3 all conference players, and have 2 talented freshmen coming up who have played a considerable amount of travel ball. Taylor Mason and Regina Leftwich finished 3rd and 4th respectfully, in the Mid Ohio Valley in batting average with .453 and a .441 average. I think the Eagles are being seriously underestimated this year, but that is ok, we will see when softball season starts who moves to the top of the conference. See you on the field!!!!!

In the Ohio, I look for Athens and Belpre to battle it out. Alex could step in and challenge

In the Hocking , I look for Trimble, Eastern, Waterford and Fed to battle it out
