Another great 1st inning start by Minford, jumped started the Lady Falcons to a 8-0 win over Northwest at Minford today in a rescheduled game, as orginally scheduled Portsmouth cancelled.
Next up for the Lady Falcons will be on the road to Portsmouth West Friday.

Minford defeated Portsmouth West in a stay in your seat thriller 2-1 to improve to 6-2, 3-1.

Minford got the bats out in the 3rd inning and never looked back in a 11-1 victory over the depleted South Webster Lady Jeeps. Best of luck Jeeps the rest of the season with only 10 girls on the team.

The Minford Lady Falcons defeated the Valley Indians 5-4 in extra innings.
This was a great game to see. Pitchers strikeout duel, batters duel. Strong defensive plays by both squads but also some run scoring miscues plagued this game.
Minford with the win, puts a two-way tie for the conference title with a few more games to be played.
Next up for the Lady Falcons is a rescheduled contest at home against the Wheelersburg Pirates tomorrow at 5.

Another great game to watch tonight, just like last night. The Lady Falcons prove once again they are ready to compete with anyone. Grandslam homerun by Kelsey Conkey and good defense enabled Minford to get another bug off there backs by holding off Wheelersburg 7-6.

The Minford Lady Falcons dropped a 7-2 decision to the Lady Mohawks at Northwest on a strong third inning barrage of 5 runs.
Minford will look to get back to the winning side of things this weekend with a game against Waverly at home today and a Saturday tournament in Chillicothe.

Well, I said before the season began that the Southern Ohio Conference will be loaded with top caliber teams and that no team has a bigger edge than the other. That's been proven as Waverly comes on the road and defeats Minford 3-1.
After two nail-bitting games with Valley and Wheelersburg, the lady Falcons were looking at a share of the conference title, but two teams (Northwest and Waverly) who Minford defeated earlier in the season (8-0, 10-9) had something to say about that, but I am still proud of my Falcons as they have improved since last season by leaps and bounds.
Just a few more games to play before the post-season and I feel the lady Falcons will make a strong tournament run.
Next game for Minford with be Monday 4-25 at home against Portsmouth West.

Minford fell to Portsmouth West 4-1 today on the strength of a 3-run fifth inning in Minford.
Next game 4-27 at Wheelersburg.

With Wheelersburg needing to be rescheduled due to suprise wet field conditions, Minford traveld to Portsmouth Clay Saturday and played two games in the Carol Vice Classic.
However, game one Minford falls to Portsmouth Clay 3-6 on the strength of 3 homeruns. In game two, the Lady Falcons fell to SVC leading Frankfort Adena Lady Warriors 0-6.
Next up for Minford Monday on the road at South Webster.
