Anyone with schedules and info on these 3 schools? Can any of these 3 schools make a district or regional run this season?

Symmes Valley seems to always make a run...good program there.

Ironton I doubt it, but never say never!

Chesapeake maybe a district run but not a regional run...but who knows! :-D

Symmes Valley should be pretty good. I see they play Wellston, Northwest, Marietta, and Brunswick in the Valley of Thunder.

Ironton, with that sked the girls WILL finally have a winning season in high school.
They should be no less than 9-7.

Well I wish the gals at Ironton the best of luck this season. You think they will be no less than 9-7? Out of their opponents on their schedule this year...who are you predicting will be their wins against and their losses against?

I don't think that is their entire schedule. I'm almost positive they play two or three of the OVC schools also. I think at least Fairland and SP.

That's what I got from Tigertown.com, the high school web sight.

I'm going by the above sked and the 2 games at the Thunder in the Valley tourney.
My run down,I figure 2 loses with the Burg.
Not knowing anything at all on the 2 teams in the S.Valley tourney,I guessed 2 loses max.
And in S.E.O.A.L,I'm putting up 3 loses to Gallia, max.
Thats the 7 loses I came up with.
That being said,Ironton won 1-3 last year with Gallia.
They played Gallia first game and lost 3-1,with numerous girls thrown out at home and 3rd.
Ironton and The Lady BlueDevils will be the front runners to win the south.
Jackson and Portsmouth will fight it out for 3rd and 4th.And Chilli will be in the basement.
My take on the Lady Tigers,"IF" they want to win they can win, they have 2 pitchers, possibly a 3rd.The infield and outfield will be fine. This is a good group of girls. If they can all work together for the same goal they will be fine.
That is why I think they will have their first winning season in quite some time.If they don't well they got problems.

Good luck Lady Tigers,I hope you win'em all!

Seems like they could possibly have a winning record...your assumptions seem realistic to me. The schedule that was posted obviously cannot be ALL of Ironton's games because that was only 5 teams listed on there that they would play. The other games are probably against some local teams...probably some OVC schools mixed in there.

Who is going to be pitching for the Tigers this season? Any new talent?

Yes SymmesValley has a heck of a program. But........Ironton is working hard to overcome all their weekness and pitfalls. I agree with hosscat Ironton has alot of talent and I see them taking it to the next level. So does anyone know who the new talent is?.....You go girls,PRACTICE LIKE YOU MEAN IT. PLAY TO WIN. AND WIN AS A TEAM!!!!!!!
