I think Alexander will be a fine team this year. They had a solid group of young ladies last year and started out strong. They were young last year but with a year under their belt I think they will be something to watch for this year. They lost one senior last year and she was the catcher for McClain who is a senior this year. There are 2 or 3 options for catchers. A couple of the girls have caught McClain in summer league ball and do a fine job. Don't count them out this year.

I believe that the Gallia Academy Blue Angels are fun to watch!!! I think this coming year will be their best year so far! Last year they beat the school record for the most wins in a season with 20-6!!! A couple of their best games were playing Logan for the SEOAL title and the district titlle with Marietta! they lost a hard fought battle to logan going 0-0 in the 8th inning! Great game! But the Angels rebounded and brought it together for the district title! going 12 innings with the score tied 1-1 beat marietta on a suicide squeeze by the Saunders sisters!!! Was an exciting game to watch!!! Good Luck Angels!!!! GO BLUE!!!!!

Trimble lost a couple seniors that weren't a great part of the program anyway. They will have quite a few sophomores on the varsity team this year that will also be a big help.

The varsity may have lost in sectionals, but they also beat Fed earlier in the season by about the same score. Trimbles varsity was up and down quite a bit.

On the other hand, Trimbles JV mercied Fed 24-0 in the first inning. The coaches decided not to play anymore after that.

feds jv is made up of girls that have never played before, and they never even practiced.

but we will just have to see.
fed is still gonna be strong! they play well together when the game is important, and they are learning to play the game to win always, not just when it really matters.

tara russell and whitney barton are real leaders, they are able to pick the girls up. i expect a lot out of them this year!

Federal Hocking will have a good season if a few things fall into place, i.e.:

-The team adjusts well to their new coach (yet to be determined) and accepts his/her coaching style

-Play as a team, not as individuals

-If they take the season game by game, take nothing for granted, and play to their potential every time they step on the field

-Practice hard

This team has plenty of talent but needs to show it at all times in order to have a successful season.

The Panthers should be fun to watch, with junior Ally C. leading the way (4 or 5 pitches for strikes-500+ batting avg) with jr. Sydney B. backing her up pitching with alot of pop in the bat. They didn't lose a senior last year either. Good luck peake, we'll be there to root you on.
