plus they are getting some freshman in there. cassidy stutler(2), kate russell(ss), kaitlin spears(1).

Don't underestimate the Belpre Eagles. They loose their starting pitcher in Courtney Meriwether, but bring back their enitre infield and outfield. I think 3 of their starters were all conference, plus they have 2 talented freshman coming up who have played a lot of travel ball over the last few years. They may be the sleeper in the conference

In the Ohio, I look for Athens and Belpre to battle it out. Alex could step in and challenge

In the Hocking , I look for Trimble, Eastern, Waterford and Fed to battle it out

I know very little about TVC softball but I have watched a few of the younger girls at Belpre High play on travel teams. Regina Leftwich, Taylor Mason, Natalie Perry and Brittany Mcnabb will all do very well.

Is it true Southern had a girl from Cincinnati move in, who happens to be a great pitcher?

Federal Hocking is going to have a new coach, and a different look.

Strong pitching returns, with their top two pitchers.........

Bats will be strong, with their top three hitters returning.....

Interior defense will be there, losing only first and third. Both players taking those spots could very well turn out to be better than last years tandem.

Lots of good things coming into the season, especially if everyone is healthy. Look forward to this years Lady Lancers Softball team..........

Thats what we are hearing out of practice. They say she throws harder but needs alittle work on her control. i look for the tornadoes to have a great chance to win the TVC!

Don't want to make any comparisons yet. No doubt, last year Casey was the best pitcher in the league. We will just move on and see how this year plays out. Lets let them play some games first.

I am spreading a word of CAUTION! The Lady Buckeyes are up against the wall this year. Word has it that the establishment will do away with softball at N-Y unless they start raking in some wins. This makes them a very hungry team and won't be a push over this year. So just a word of caution.
